Scotland is a great place to teach and we want to attract talented teachers.

If you're an existing teacher from another part of the UK or overseas, are looking for a career change or are a graduate deciding what to do with their degree, find everything you need to know about a teaching career in Scotland here.

Full or part-time training – the choice is yours! If you cannot undertake the one year full-time PGDE course, you can still achieve your ambition to become a teacher through part-time/distance-learning with the University of Aberdeen, Dundee, Strathclyde and the Open University.
